The reading for today was on worship. This is something that is not really well defined in our Christian circles. Simply put, worship is giving back to God what he has blessed us with. The problem sometimes is that we relegate worship to one hour or so on a Sunday morning. Worship should be a culmination of our week spent with God. We can give our time, our talents, and our treasure all week long and it all comes together on Sunday. Hope you all of a very blessed week worshiping our great God.

The scripture this morning was talking about when Abraham was told to leave his home to go to a place that he did not know. God only asked him to trust him and that he would reveal to him where and when he was to go. I thought about that concept in the life of our church. We do not know where God is going to lead us this year or what types of ministry opportunities that he will bring across our path. What we do know is that we are to be following and trusting him to show us the way and provide for our needs. Will you join me on this journey? The way is never easy but the rewards are incredible. to see what God will do in and through us. May you experience the closeness of his presence today.
